Spolu s odvahou What does the term Courage mean to you? For me, it is courage to face any obstacles and events that come our way in life. Courage is also to embark on the fulfillment of your "crazy" dreams and goals, not to let them out of your sight and sometimes even "stubbornly" fight for them, regardless of the opinions of others, gradually, step by step. When I started training 3 years ago and later running the Spartan, which has been a part of my life since then, I did not expect that it would bring so many wonderful changes to my life and, above all, many challenges. Spartan are obstacle races of various lengths (from 5+km to 50+km), which take place most often in hilly terrains, where, in addition to decent hills, there are also "several" obstacles (20 to 60) waiting for you depending on your level, which you have to overcome with your determination , courage and strength. During that time, I participated in 46 starts at different levels, however, I still miss one and the last most difficult level. When considering participating in the next race, I had doubts and hesitated for a long time (I really lacked the courage), but then I was approached by the Spolu s odvahou foundation, to which I thank you very much for the opportunity to be a part of this beautiful project. Spartan ULTRA is the highest level you can participate in and I will try again the first weekend of September in Kouty nad Desnou in the Czech Republic. This race is a big challenge for me, in which I will be fighting mainly with myself on a 50+ km course with a large elevation gain and over 60 obstacles, but I will not be determined to reach the finish line just for myself. My start will be dedicated to oncologically ill children from the Spolu s odvahou foundation, which aims to provide various activities that give them courage on this difficult journey. I would like to ask you, great people whom life itself has brought me, for your help in this great challenge. Your support for the children will also be my support and courage on this path to the first bigger goal. I set the target amount symbolically at 1099,- Euros - that's how many days will pass from my first attempt to conquer Spartan ULTRA to my second attempt in September, and I believe that we can do it together. You can contribute any amount (or by sharing this challenge and thus raising awareness about this foundation) and thus support the activities of the foundation, because only together we can change the "world" for the better, we ordinary people with good hearts, because "Even the smallest person can change the direction of the future."
